Role Description
The Chief Compliance Officer (Company Secretary) will oversee the company’s compliance framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards. Responsibilities include implementing compliance programs, monitoring internal processes, providing regulatory advice, maintaining statutory records, and liaising with regulatory authorities such as NHB. The role also involves risk assessment and mitigation to ensure the company's operations meet all legal and financial regulations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Compliance Management and understanding of Regulatory Compliance standards
- Strong Analytical Skills for risk assessment and decision-making
- Effective Communication skills for coordination with regulatory bodies and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Financial regulations and practices
- Membership in the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is required
- Proven track record in a similar role, preferably in banking, finance, or housing finance
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing compliance issues
