Chief Business Officer (CBO)
Leads sales, marketing, distribution, investor engagement and digital initiatives to drive growth and client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Develop and execute business growth strategy.
- - Oversee marketing and sales teams.
- - Drive digital initiatives and client lifecycle management.
- - Collaborate with product and investment teams on go-to-market.
Requirements:
- - MBA or equivalent in Business/Finance.
- - 15+ years in AMC or investment industry leadership.
- - Experience scaling businesses and partnerships.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- - AUM growth rate.
- - Client retention and satisfaction (NPS).
- - Channel partner expansion.
- - Marketing ROI and digital conversion.
Reporting Line:
Additional Responsibilities
- Govern business risks, including distribution and misselling.
- Identify and escalate early warning signals and fraud in sales.
- Provide input to RO/CEO on distribution risk metrics and appetite.
- Update and test risk registers for sales/marketing-related controls.
- Report mis-selling cases, negative inspection remarks, and investor suitability breaches.
- Govern distribution risks, detect mis-selling, and analyze investor portfolio risk appetite.
- Perform periodic RCSA testing, track escalation of frauds, and ensure risk reports are shared with CEO.
