Role Description The Chief Architect at Vivid Pulse is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and owning the overall technical architecture across platforms and products. This role includes designing scalable systems, guiding software development teams on best practices, and ensuring effective integration between internal and external systems. The Chief Architect collaborates with product, engineering, and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust architectural designs and roadmaps. Day-to-day activities involve reviewing solution designs, mentoring technical staff, overseeing architectural governance, and aligning projects with security, performance, and reliability standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills for complex, scalable, and secure systems.
- Candidates should possess Software Development experience with modern languages, frameworks, and cloud-native technologies.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills, including APIs, microservices, and data flow design across heterogeneous systems.
- Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities to oversee technical initiatives, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven experience in a senior or lead architect role, preferably in high-growth or technology-driven organizations.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), security best practices, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical direction.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
