Company Description : We are hiring for an agentic AI based fintech startup. The company is building and agentic financial operating system for mid-market finance team. Such OS can close books, manage cash and collect recievables under approved policies and on demand audit trails. The company in its seed stage has been well funded by a numnber of reputed investors.
Role Description The Chief AI Engineer will lead a highly specialised team of AI engineers. overseeing the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven products and solutions. The incumbent will build scalable Agentic AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, multi agent systems, and workflow orchestration.. He/she will drive AI model evaluation, prompt engineering, performance optimization, and production deployment. The role has a direct and specific line of sight to the CTO and Co-founder role.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience building AI-first products.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Go, TypeScript, Java, or similar technologies.
- Concentrated hands on experience of LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, and AI orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
Part of evaluation will consist of live coding solution environment with agentic coding tools setup of the candidate ( any/all of claude code, codex, cursor/etc, in most commonly used build).
