We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Events Staff to join our team located at Riverwind Casino.
Summary: Conduct sales of special events and concerts being held at the facility or offsite company events, assisting in set up of areas prior to event.
Responsibilities: * Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area* Communicates with other team members, departments, guests and management- Shares general and important information- Listens to others- Follows divisional, departmental and organizational protocols* Assist in set-up, preparation, provide support for all special events- Provides support in set up, table ware preparation, serving, running errands, breakdown, cleanup and post event wrap up- Provides support in offsite events including but not limited to, preparation, set up, running errands, answer questions, interact with guest, handing out promo items, clean up* Process ticket sales from patron via multiple communication styles providing confirmation when necessary- Takes patron's name, payment and winning experience car number when applicable- Provides ticket or confirmation number for ticket retrieval if confirmation number has been assigned in absence of producing a ticket* Provide assistance and information about upcoming events held in venue- Works with Player Development Guest Services department in determining seats that have been assigned to high-end players- Ensures correct coordination for all tickets available and that tickets have been accounted for correctly* Assists patrons inside venue with various outlets of entertainment options- Assists patrons to find assigned seats- Assists with crowd flow during concert intermission- Directs patrons to dining, various gaming options, entertainment, restrooms and any additional services provided by the facility* Performs all other duties as assigned
Competencies: Essential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Ability to handle difficult customers and situations* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines* Ability to multitask* Must be friendly with an outgoing personality* Works well within a team* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management
Skills: Essential:* Ability to pass cashier training and auditions* Basic Computer skills* Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite of products* Accurately type 25 words per minute
Experience: Nonessential:* No prior experience required
Education: Essential:* High School, GED or Equivalent
Credentials: Essential:* Pass gaming background check* Standard Driver's License
Working Conditions: Essential:* May work where cigarette smoking occurs* Bright and Flashing lights* Casino* High traffic area where people may congregate* Poor ventilation* Sometimes bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach* Sometimes work at heights* Sometimes lift and or carry up to 25 lbs* Standing up to 75% of shift* May work day shift* May work evening shift* Must be flexible with work schedule* May work holidays* May work night shift* May work weekend shift
