Cleaner / Facilities Team Member – Chick-fil-A

Role Overview

At Chick-fil-A, we believe a clean and well-maintained restaurant is one of the biggest ways we care for our guests and our team. This role plays a huge part in creating that experience every single day.

We’re looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work. This person helps protect our brand by keeping our restaurant clean, safe, and ready to serve at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

Cleanliness & Organization

• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant inside and outside
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain floors
• Clean dining room, restrooms, kitchen areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Clean windows, glass, and high-touch surfaces
• Empty trash and keep all waste areas clean

Restroom Care

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms throughout the day
• Ensure restrooms are always guest-ready

Maintenance & Upkeep

• Support light maintenance needs when needed
• Move equipment, supplies, or furniture as required
• Report any repair or safety concerns to leadership immediately
• Assist with basic safety checks (doors, equipment, etc.)

Supplies & Equipment

• Maintain and organize cleaning tools and equipment
• Monitor supply levels and communicate needs to leadership

Safety & Standards

• Follow all Chick-fil-A food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly
• Help maintain a safe environment for guests and team members

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus (not required)
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout shifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
