SEASONAL - EQUIPMENT

Responsibilities 

• Work with the Equipment team to deliver helpful, friendly, and professional customer service to players and staff within Football Operations.
• Support the cleaning, maintenance, and distribution of club apparel and equipment in accordance with organizational standards.
• Assist with the setup, breakdown, and ongoing maintenance of practice and tryout equipment, ensuring storage areas remain organized and safe.
• Assist with inventory management
• Assist with maintenance of equipment to ensure functionality
• Throw and catch a football as required for practice as needed including off a jug machine.

• Perform daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and proper handling of team apparel.
• Assist in packing and preparing trunks and player bags for home & away games
• Provide operational support to accommodate the needs of coaches and players
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Previousequipment department experience with a collegiate program or professional team isrequired
• Knowledge of AEMA(Athletic Equipment Manager’s Association)best practices and methodologies.Certificationishighly preferred.
• Must be able to work non-traditional hours throughout the entire duration of the position. This includes evenings, early mornings, holidays, and weekends.
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and customer service skills
• Positive enthusiasm, friendly demeanor, and professionalism  
• Takes initiative, is adaptable and can work as a part of a team in a dynamic environment
• Physical activity requirements:
  • Required handling of weighted objects of at least 50lbs
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods(4+hours) of time in varying weather conditions, climb up and downstairs
  • Ability to throw and catch a football including off a jug machine at a minimum 20 yards.  
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.)

The Seasonal - Equipment is a full-time non-contract seasonal position. This position is an HOURLY role. The expected hourly rate for this role is $16.75/per hour. Please note, due to job function, regular overtime (paid as time-and-a-half) is expected.
