Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Chess Teacher. The Chess Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging chess lessons, creating learning strategies to develop critical thinking and game skills in students. Core tasks include providing individualized coaching, supporting students' progress, and fostering a love for chess as a tool for strategic thinking and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum development tailored for chess education.
- Strong skills in Education, Teaching, and Training, with experience in communicating complex strategies in an understandable manner.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to engage learners of various ages and skill levels effectively.
- Passion for chess with a strong understanding of game strategies and techniques.
- Prior experience in teaching chess or coaching students at beginner to advanced levels is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, remote teaching schedule effectively.
