Role Description
This is a part-time remote position for a Chess Coach. The Chess Coach will conduct online chess training sessions for children aged 5 to 16, develop personalized coaching plans based on skill level, and track student progress. Other responsibilities include creating engaging learning materials, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a supportive environment that inspires students to improve their strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of chess strategies, rules, and gameplay
- Experience coaching or teaching chess to children and young learners
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning plans
- Proficiency in using virtual conferencing tools to conduct online sessions
- Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire and nurture the skills of young players
- Certification or recognition in chess coaching or tournament participation is a plus
