Your role in our success:

The System Administrator will manage and enhance on-premises and cloud server infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with industry best practices. The role will involve working with platforms like Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Microsoft Entra, Exchange, Citrix, and other commonly used infrastructure technologies to support system operations and contribute to ongoing initiatives. This role will also be responsible for administering the patch management process for systems to ensure timely updates, minimize vulnerabilities, and maintain compliance with security standards. The role will require collaboration with other teams and contribute to the implementation of secure, reliable system solutions.

What you'll be working on:

  • Manages Windows Server systems: Installs, configures, and maintains Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Works with IT security, Internal Audit and IT compliance to ensure systems are patched and compliant, including vulnerability management and access controls.
  • Leads support areas for Microsoft Entra, Exchange, Citrix, and other commonly used infrastructure technologies.
  • Monitors performance and system optimization: Uses monitoring tools and reporting tools to proactively detect and resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoots & provides support for Level 2/3 support for system-related issues, working closely with IT teams to address incidents and fulfill service requests. Collaborate with external technology partners and subject matter experts as needed to ensure efficient issue resolution.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation of system design, inventory, and architecture to ensure all critical infrastructure components are tracked and accounted for accurately

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent work experience in Systems Administration will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Azure cloud infrastructure

  • 4+ years of experience in supporting platforms such as Microsoft Server, Virtualization platforms, Microsoft Exchange, Citrix, Active Director (On-Prem & Entra), DNS, DCHP, and group policy
  • 4+ years of experience monitoring performance and system optimization
  • 4+ years of experience working with IT security, Internal Audit, and IT compliance to ensure systems are patched and compliant, including vulnerability management and access controls
  • Standard driver’s license
  • Strong knowledge in overall data center and infrastructure technology and systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills 
  • Strong verbal, written and documentation skills 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments
  • Skilled in transparently conveying complex information and managing stakeholder expectations during periods of uncertainty
  • Skilled in public speaking and the ability to tactfully deliver accurate and understandable counsel in response to inquiries or complaints 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Microsoft certifications or relevant cloud certifications a plus
