Job Description – Branch Manager (Chennai)

Position Overview
The Branch Manager (Chennai) will be responsible for driving overall branch performance including sales growth, collections, operations, and team management across B2B and B2C segments. The role involves leading the sales team, ensuring revenue targets, managing key client relationships, and overseeing end-to-end branch activities while maintaining profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Growth
Drive overall branch sales targets (B2B & B2C) and ensure achievement.
Develop and execute local market strategies specific to Chennai region.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships.
Monitor sales pipeline, conversions, and closures.
Support the team in closing high-value deals.
2. B2B Channel Development
Expand business through key channels:
Channel partners, dealers, and distributors
Corporates and institutions
Government and tender-based projects
Builders, contractors, architects, and consultants
Sports clubs, academies, and fitness centers
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Chennai market.
Ensure consistent channel performance and growth.
3. B2C Sales Management
Oversee company-generated leads conversion.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and experience.
Drive referrals and repeat business.
4. Collections & Revenue Management
Ensure timely collections and cash flow management.
Monitor outstanding payments and reduce overdue accounts.
Guide team on effective follow-ups and recovery strategies.
Track revenue vs collection performance.
5. Team Management & Leadership
Lead, manage, and motivate the branch sales and operations team.
Set targets, track performance, and ensure accountability.
Recruit, train, and mentor team members.
Build a high-performance and result-oriented culture.
6. CRM & Reporting
Ensure proper usage of CRM system for lead and sales tracking.
Monitor pipeline, conversions, and team productivity.
Review and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Report branch performance to senior management.
7. Operations & Coordination
Oversee day-to-day branch operations.
Coordinate with CRM, design, and execution teams for smooth project delivery.
Ensure timely quotation approvals and project execution.
Maintain operational efficiency and process adherence.
8. Market Intelligence & Strategy
Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies in Chennai region.
Provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
Identify new market segments and expansion opportunities.
9. Customer & Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Handle escalations and ensure quick resolution.
Ensure long-term client retention and satisfaction.
10. Compliance & Administration
Ensure adherence to company policies and processes.
Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness.
Manage branch budgets and expenses effectively.
