Role Description This full-time Chemist role is an on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. The Chemist will perform routine and specialized laboratory testing, prepare and analyze samples, and ensure that all procedures follow established methods and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include documenting test results, maintaining laboratory equipment, supporting quality control activities, and collaborating with colleagues to resolve technical issues. The Chemist will also contribute to research and development projects, assist in method validation, and help improve laboratory processes to support the company’s testing and inspection services. The role involves working closely with internal teams to meet client requirements and uphold regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including sample preparation, instrument handling, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess quality control skills, with experience in validating methods, monitoring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, troubleshoot test results, and use relevant analytical instruments and software.
- Candidates should possess research and development (R&D) and research skills, including designing experiments, documenting findings, and supporting process improvements.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and regulatory requirements applicable to testing laboratories.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately within deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
