Role Description The Chemical Specialist role at Labour Power is a full-time, on-site position based in Anekal. In this role, the specialist will oversee daily chemical handling operations, including safe storage, usage, and disposal of chemical materials according to regulatory and company standards. The specialist will perform routine and advanced laboratory tests, monitor chemical processes, and troubleshoot issues to maintain quality and safety. Responsibilities include documenting test results, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with operations, safety, and engineering teams to optimize chemical-related workflows. The role also involves supporting compliance with environmental and safety regulations, training team members on chemical safety procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the chemical operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge and experience in the Chemical Industry, with familiarity in chemical processes and industrial applications.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, solve technical problems, and support process optimization.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly document procedures and findings.
- Candidates should possess practical Laboratory Skills, including safe handling of chemicals, use of lab equipment, and accurate testing and reporting.
- Candidates should possess a foundation in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline to understand process design, safety, and efficiency.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards, environmental regulations, and chemical hazard management is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Anekal, manage multiple tasks, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
