Role Description This is a full-time remote internship role for a Chemical and Material Science Expert Intern. The intern will assist in researching and developing sustainable materials and chemical processes that support the company’s technology ecosystem. Daily tasks may include literature reviews, data collection and analysis, supporting laboratory method development (in collaboration with lab teams where applicable), and preparing technical reports or presentations. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate material performance, assess environmental impact, and contribute to prototype testing and optimization. The role also involves documenting findings, communicating results to stakeholders, and aligning work with sustainability and innovation goals.
Qualifications
- Chemical Industry and Chemical Engineering knowledge, with understanding of material science principles and industrial applications.
- Strong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and critical thinking for evaluating materials and processes.
- Effective Communication skills for presenting technical information clearly in written reports and team discussions.
- Foundational Laboratory Skills, such as safe handling of chemicals, basic experimental design, and familiarity with common analytical techniques.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Interest in sustainability, green technologies, and innovative material solutions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate with diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with standard productivity tools and basic data analysis software; experience with simulation or modeling tools is a plus.
