Role Description The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Nagpur, responsible for setting and executing the company’s overall technology vision. The CTO will oversee end-to-end software development activities, guide product and platform architecture, and ensure delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading engineering teams, prioritizing technical initiatives, managing project timelines, and collaborating closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders. The role includes defining IT strategy, selecting tools and technologies, establishing development standards, and implementing best practices for reliability, performance, and maintainability. The CTO will also mentor technical team members, support hiring and staffing decisions, monitor emerging technologies, and align the technology roadmap with business objectives and customer needs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Product Development, with experience delivering production-ready solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in IT Strategy and Architecture, with the ability to design scalable systems and long-term technical roadmaps.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including planning, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.
- Extensive experience leading engineering teams and managing technical organizations in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Proficiency with modern software development practices (e.g., cloud platforms, APIs, CI/CD, security and compliance standards).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Nagpur, collaborate closely with local stakeholders, and support a high-ownership, inclusive culture.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
