About the role

As a Product Manager II on the Chegg Skills team, you will help build best-in-class skills products, courses, and features that empower learners worldwide to acquire job-ready skills, advance their careers, and achieve their professional goals. You will collaborate cross-functionally with other Product Managers, UX and Instructional Designers, Engineers, Product Marketers, Data Scientists, Career Success teams, Content Creators, and Data Analysts to deliver impactful, outcome-focused, and delightfully engaging end-to-end experiences across Chegg Skills web, mobile, and learning platforms. The ideal candidate is a proven customer- and data-obsessed Product Manager with experience taking skills-based or education-to-employment products/features from zero to launch, oroptimizing existing learning and career pathways for growth and retention. You should be a curious seeker of insights, have deep empathy for adult learners and job-seekers, possess a strong passion for the product management craft, thrive in a growth-oriented environment, and be excited to work with fast-paced, mission-driven teams focused on transforming lives through skills education. Role & Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional members of the Product Team to define, scope, deliver, launch, optimize, and report on key features and functionality needed to meet long-term Product Vision, near-term Product Strategy, Annual Programs, and OKRs. Flexible in daily working hours to provide overlap with working hours of US-based teams. Define detailed use cases, product requirements, user flows, and technical specifications needed to support Chegg's quality standards for product development. Deliver and report on the performance of product experiences launched, developing hypotheses and recommendations on next steps. Take a data-driven approach to making decisions and gaining user insight, leveraging rigorous A/B testing, qualitative/ quantitative research, customer feedback, data analysis tools, and your heuristics through the product. Deliver committed roadmap initiatives in-scope, on time, and with great quality, helping Product Teams to rationalize trade-offs and priorities. Keep a pulse and awareness around industry trends, business and financial performance/levers, and market competitors. Communicate status, outcomes, and ideas with members of the Product & Project Teams, and stakeholders proactively and frequently, using a variety of methods and styles. Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the product dev team
