Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chef-Operations/Junior Chef role located in Bengaluru. The role involves preparing and presenting food items, ensuring quality and hygiene standards, and maintaining kitchen operations. The position requires supporting inventory management, coordinating with suppliers, managing food preparation schedules, and assisting in catering services for corporate events. The role also includes collaboration with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and creative plating
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and inventory management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in a culinary role, preferably in corporate catering, is an advantage
- Familiarity with sourcing and coordinating with food and beverage suppliers
- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field is advantageous
