Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Chef at IdeaPod Café. The Chef will oversee the day-to-day operations of the café kitchen, including planning and preparing high-quality meals, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and managing inventory and food costs. Responsibilities also include working collaboratively with the team to create innovative and seasonally inspired menu offerings that align with the Cafe's creative atmosphere. The Chef will play an essential role in ensuring a welcoming guest experience with delicious, well-presented meals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in meal preparation, menu development, and innovative cooking techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen organization
- Track record of managing food inventory, cost control, and minimizing waste
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique and seasonally inspired recipes
- Formal culinary training or relevant certifications will be a plus
- Experience working in a café or restaurant kitchen is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
