Aragma is a 24-cover, tasting menu restaurant in Pune. Every menu is intentionally crafted to showcase everyday ingredients and culture, with a warm and intuitive hospitality. We are a small, mission driven, focused team that takes the art of hospitality seriously.
The Role We are looking for a creative cook who is ready to work at a level where the details matter.
This is not a high-volume kitchen. It is a kitchen where every component on every plate has a reason for being there — and your job is to understand that reason, execute it consistently and participate in the creative journey.
What You'll Be Doing
- Owning your service & team with full accountability and highest standards of prep, execution, consistency, and hygiene.
- Working closely with the Sous Chef to understand the intent behind each dish, not just the recipe.
- Contributing to the development of new dishes as the menu evolves with the season.
- Mentoring junior team members with patience and clarity.
- Staying curious — about ingredients, techniques, and everything happening on the plate.
What We're Looking For
(Long term associations only)
- Four to six years of kitchen experience, with at least 1 to 2 years in a fine dining or tasting menu
- genre.
- Someone who is excited by seasonal and locally sourced produce.
- Strong foundational skills — knife work, stocks, sauces, precision cooking techniques.
- The ability to work calmly and carefully under the pressure of a tasting menu service.
- Innate problem solving skills.
- Team player.
