Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chef position located in Madikeri, Karnataka. As a Chef, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, prepare quality dishes, and ensure high standards of food presentation and hygiene. You will collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes, plan menus, manage food inventory, and oversee compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. The role requires effective team collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to providing exceptional culinary experiences for guests.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cooking techniques, recipe development, and menu planning
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen protocols
- Excellent plating and presentation skills with a creative approach to culinary arts
- Strong organizational skills to manage kitchen operations, stock management, and ensure timely service
- Leadership and teamwork capabilities to guide and collaborate with the culinary team effectively
- Experience in international cuisines or specialty dishes is highly desirable
- Formal culinary training or a diploma/degree in culinary arts or hospitality management
- Previous experience in high-quality resorts, hotels, or restaurants is a plus
- Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and innovation in food preparation
