Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Chef with around 10 years of professional kitchen experience(veg/non-veg) to oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality dishes are consistently delivered. The candidate should have strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training junior cooks and helpers.
- Plan and update menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure proper food storage, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for kitchen requirements.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and food quality.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Work closely with management to improve kitchen efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience as a Chef or Senior Cook.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification is preferred.
Preferred
- Experience in restaurant, hotel, or catering environments.
- Ability to manage menu planning and cost control.
