Role Overview:
Responsible for development and standardization of authentic South Indian food products and menus for café, QSR, retail, and institutional formats. The role requires a strong scalability mindset with focus on consistency, operational ease, and commercial viability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and standardize South Indian recipes and products
- Create scalable SOP-driven food solutions for high-volume production
- Conduct trials, benchmarking, and product improvements
- Ensure consistency, quality, yield control, and cost optimization
- Work closely with production, QA, procurement, and operations teams
- Support product rollouts and kitchen training
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of regional South Indian cuisines
- Experience in NPD and centralized kitchen / commissary operations
- Ability to balance authenticity with scalability and efficiency
- Strong understanding of recipe costing, batch production, and process control
- Hands-on, quality-focused, and process-oriented professional
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in reputed hotels, QSR brands, premium restaurants, commissaries, or food production establishments.
Education:
Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
