Role Description
The Assistant Manager – Audit & Advisory will perform financial audits, assess risk areas, and compile reports to ensure company policies and client compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing client relationships, and recommending improvements to existing financial processes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram, requiring close collaboration with clients and team members.
Role Summary:
We are looking for a qualified CA with 2–3 years of experience to work across audit, taxation, financial due diligence, transaction advisory. The role involves close interaction with partners, handling multiple engagements and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Audit & Assurance
- Statutory, internal, Forensic & due diligence audits across various industries
2. Transaction Advisory
- Assist in financial due diligence engagements
- Support preparation of financial summaries and key insights reports
- Coordinate data room requirements and client deliverables
3. Compliance & Reporting
- Support GST and Income Tax compliances
- Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements
4. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with clients for data collection and clarifications
- Participate in client discussions and review meetings
- Handle routine queries and escalate complex matters appropriately
5. Internal Coordination & Quality Control
- Ensure timely execution of assignments across engagements
- Maintain structured documentation and file management
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate and consistent outputs
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience
- Prior experience in a CA firm environment preferred
- Strong exposure to audit and basic taxation
- Exposure to due diligence / transaction advisory will be an added advantage
- Ability to work in a multi-client, deadline-driven environment
- High ownership mindset with strong learning agility
