Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Chartered Accountant - Statutory Audit position based in Mumbai. The role involves executing and managing statutory audits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparing financial statements and audit reports. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial records, identifying areas requiring risk mitigation, and working closely with clients to understand their needs. Collaborative work with internal teams to ensure audit projects are delivered on time and maintaining meticulous documentation are essential aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Auditing and Statutory Audit principles
- Proficiency in Taxation (Direct and Indirect), Risk Assessment, and Regulatory Compliance
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for financial management and business activities
- Strong communication, reporting, and documentation abilities
- Familiarity with Corporate and Labour Laws, and knowledge of Insolvency Processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and auditing tools
- CA qualification with relevant experience in statutory audits
- Strong attention to detail, client-focused mindset, and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in audit roles within a professional services firm is an advantage
