## Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified *Senior Accountant cum Chartered Accountant (CA)* to lead and manage the complete Finance & Accounts function of our real estate organization. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in real estate accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, financial planning, and team management. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient management of the Accounts Department.
## Key Responsibilities
### Finance & Accounts
* Lead and manage the entire Accounts & Finance Department.
* Maintain complete books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Finalization of accounts and preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements.
* Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and management reports.
* Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
* Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
* Manage payroll accounting, employee reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
### Real Estate Accounting
* Handle project-wise accounting and cost allocation.
* Maintain project profitability and cost control reports.
* Monitor construction costs, contractor payments, vendor reconciliations, and retention amounts.
* Manage customer collections, demand letters, receipts, refunds, and account reconciliations.
* Handle land acquisition accounting, Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), Development Management Agreements, and revenue recognition.
* Maintain inventory accounting for projects and unsold units.
* Ensure compliance with RERA accounting and reporting requirements.
* Coordinate with sales, legal, and project teams for financial transactions and project closures.
### Taxation & Compliance
* Handle GST compliance, return filing, reconciliations, and assessments.
* Manage TDS deductions, return filings, and reconciliations.
* Prepare and file Income Tax returns and ensure tax compliance.
* Ensure timely statutory payments and filings.
* Coordinate with tax consultants and government authorities.
* Handle notices, assessments, and departmental audits.
### Audit & Financial Controls
* Manage Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, and GST Audit.
* Develop and implement financial controls and internal processes.
* Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, RERA, and applicable accounting standards.
* Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
### Leadership & Team Management
* Lead, mentor, and supervise the Accounts team.
* Allocate work, review financial records, and ensure departmental efficiency.
* Develop SOPs and improve accounting processes.
* Work closely with senior management on strategic financial planning and business decision-making.
## Required Qualifications
* Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
* Minimum 10+ years of post-qualification experience in the Real Estate industry.
* Strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, auditing, budgeting, and statutory compliance.
* Hands-on experience in project accounting, RERA compliance, and real estate financial management.
* Proficiency in Tally ERP, ERP systems, and Advanced MS Excel.
* Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
## Preferred Skills
* Strong understanding of RERA, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and real estate accounting practices.
* Ability to independently manage the complete Finance & Accounts function.
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
## Compensation
* *Salary:* Up to ₹20 LPA (Based on experience and competency)
- *Preference will be given to candidates with strong real estate industry experience who can independently lead the Accounts & Finance Department. Immediate joiners or candidates serving a short notice period are preferred.*
