Role Overview
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in Internal Audit and Financial Planning to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining compliance, and leading audit and planning functions that support strategic business growth in a rapidly scaling EdTech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily accounting checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare detailed MIS reports to aid management in decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support organizational growth.
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax and Company's Act regulations.
- Streamline and optimize financial and accounting processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid membership.
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in Internal Audit.
- In-depth knowledge of Income Tax and Company's Act laws.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Zoho Books.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EdTech or high-growth startup environments.
- Familiarity with multi-entity accounting operations.
- Exposure to fundraising and investor reporting.
