Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Mumbai, supporting a group of companies within AImploy’s network. The Chartered Accountant will oversee financial accounting and reporting across multiple entities, including preparation of financial statements, consolidation, and periodic management reports. Daily responsibilities include managing general ledgers, reviewing transactions, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating audits, and monitoring cash flows. The role involves budgeting, variance analysis, and providing financial insights to leadership for strategic decision-making. The Chartered Accountant will also support tax planning and filings, maintain robust internal controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and consolidation for group entities.
- Experience in statutory compliance, taxation (direct and indirect), and coordination with auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting for multi-entity structures.
- Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP software, advanced MS Excel skills, and comfort working with large data sets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities, with the ability to interpret financial data for business decisions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance, operations, and leadership teams in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
- Prior exposure to technology, startup, or HR-tech/AI-driven businesses is an advantage.
