We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0-5 years of experience to join our finance team. This role is ideal for professionals looking to build a strong foundation in taxation, compliance, and financial reporting while working in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. You will play a key role in managing tax-related functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial decisions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file direct and indirect tax returns, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- Ensure timely compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Assist in tax planning and optimization strategies to minimize liabilities while maintaining compliance.
- Handle tax assessments, notices, and audits by coordinating with regulatory authorities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for all tax-related activities.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Reconcile tax accounts and identify discrepancies, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and advise internal stakeholders on potential impacts.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, legal, and operations to ensure seamless compliance.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary data and explanations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 0-5 years of relevant experience in taxation, accounting, or audit. Freshers with strong academic knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of Indian tax laws, including GST, Income Tax, and TDS provisions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, Excel, ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders and authorities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a CA firm, consulting firm, or corporate finance team.
- Exposure to tax audits, litigation, or compliance management.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulatory frameworks.
