Hummingbird is hiring | Chartered Accountant ( Audit & Taxation ) | Location - Surat
We are hiring a Chartered Accountant for one of our CA firm clients in Surat. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 4 years of experience with strong hands-on exposure to Taxation and Audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle taxation and audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including preparation and filing of returns.
- Assist with tax assessments, notices, reconciliations, and related documentation.
- Plan and execute statutory, internal, and tax audit assignments.
- Review books of accounts, financial statements, ledgers, and supporting documents.
- Prepare and review audit working papers, reports, and financial statements.
- Ensure timely completion of client assignments while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Identify accounting, taxation, and compliance issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Assist clients with accounting, taxation, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
- Coordinate directly with clients to collect information, resolve queries, and provide updates on assignments.
- Stay updated with changes in taxation laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure quality standards across all assignments.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Taxation and Audit.
- Good understanding of accounting, taxation laws, audit procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in handling multiple client assignments independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work in a professional services environment and manage deadlines effectively.
