Role Description The Chartered Accountant will work full time on-site at the TrusQual Books office in Surat. Responsibilities include handling full-cycle bookkeeping, preparing and reviewing financial statements, management reports, and tax filings in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing payroll processing and reconciliations, and supporting inventory and cash flow management. The Chartered Accountant will also assist with budgeting, projections, variance analysis, audits, and system implementation or process improvement initiatives. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and maintaining high standards of integrity and professional ethics.
Qualifications
- Strong technical accounting skills in financial accounting and reporting under US GAAP and IFRS, including preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Experience with budgeting, projections, financial planning and analysis, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, payroll processing, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable management, and inventory management.
- Comfort with accounting and ERP software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, Oracle Financials, Hyperion, SAGE, Kashflow, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of taxation, audits, compliance, and related regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to work accurately under deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs and larger corporate clients.
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent; additional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or MBA in finance are an advantage.
