We are hiring an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Indirect Taxation for a leading organization based in Mumbai. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified CA with 5+ years of experience to manage end-to-end indirect taxation processes, ensure GST compliance, and support regulatory matters across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and review GST filings including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B along with timely statutory compliance
- Handle general ledger reconciliation, ITC reconciliation, and resolve vendor-related GST issues
- Manage GST audits, notices, assessments, appeals, and refund processes
- Track and interpret GST circulars, amendments, and regulatory updates to ensure compliance
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants for tax-related matters
- Support process improvements and ensure accurate taxation records and reporting
Looking For
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in indirect taxation / GST compliance
- Strong knowledge of GST filings, audits, reconciliations, and assessments
- Experience in handling notices, appeals, and refund claims
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Open to candidates from any industry background
