Role Description This is a full-time, on-site for 2 Chartered Accountants based in Ludhiana. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for performing statutory and internal audits, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include handling direct and indirect tax matters, supporting GST and international taxation assignments, and assisting in banking, financial services, and risk assurance engagements. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and external professionals, contribute to documentation and reporting, and maintain high-quality deliverables in line with the firm’s procedures and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, auditing principles, direct and indirect taxation (including GST), and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in statutory and internal audits, financial reporting, risk assurance, and exposure to areas such as international taxation, valuations, and insolvency and bankruptcy matters.
- Proficiency in accounting and audit software, MS Office (especially Excel), and comfort working with IT-enabled tools and data-driven processes.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and research skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial and legal information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work on-site in Ludhiana, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and contribute positively in a team-based, multi-disciplinary environment.
