Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Pune City. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day financial accounting, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities include handling taxation and statutory compliance, supporting audits, monitoring budgets, and analyzing financial performance for various real estate projects. The role also involves preparing management reports, advising on cost optimization, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors or consultants. The Chartered Accountant will contribute to financial planning and risk management to support informed decision-making by the leadership team.
Qualifications
- Recognized Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with relevant professional certification and membership.
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including experience with balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of taxation, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances applicable in India, preferably with exposure to the real estate sector.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with strong MS Excel and general IT skills.
- Ability to interpret financial data, prepare clear management reports, and support strategic decision-making.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct, and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Prior experience in real estate or construction industries is an advantage.
