Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust financial models and detailed valuation analyses to support strategic decision-making and investment evaluation.
- Assist in company buy–sell transactions and end-to-end private equity execution, including transaction structuring and deal support.
- Source new mandates and cultivate relationships with clients, investors, and lenders to expand the firm’s advisory portfolio.
- Prepare investment memoranda, investor presentations, valuation reports, and pitch books.
- Conduct financial, operational, and legal due diligence, including research, analysis, and transaction documentation.
- Perform industry and sector research, financial modelling, balance sheet analysis, and contract evaluation.
- Undertake risk assessment, mitigation planning, and strategic SWOT analysis for client engagements.
- Contribute to term sheet structuring, sector reports, and investment committee documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams across finance, legal, and technology functions to ensure seamless execution of mandates.
- Support team learning, mentoring, and knowledge development within the organization.
Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and analytical problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of SEBI ICDR Regulations and capital market processes.
- Prior exposure to investment banking, transaction advisory, or fund advisory is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical rigor, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Experience within the startup ecosystem will be considered an added advantage.
