Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in the Greater Bhopal Area. The Chartered Accountant will oversee financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements aligned with applicable accounting standards. The role includes monitoring cost structures, analyzing production costs, and supporting budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations. The professional will manage statutory compliance, taxation matters, and coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve cash flow monitoring, internal controls, variance analysis, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decisions and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Professional Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing finance, including analysis of production costs and variances.
- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, statutory compliance, and coordination with auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting software, advanced Excel skills, and comfort working with large data sets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with production, procurement, and management teams on-site.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred; familiarity with process improvements and cost-optimization initiatives is an advantage.
