Lalwani Ferro Alloys Limited (around Rs.1200+ Crore Turnover)is looking to hire a high-calibre Chartered Accountant for a key leadership role in our finance and compliance function.
We are seeking a professional with strong hands-on experience in manufacturing accounts, direct and indirect taxation, company law compliance, audits, financial reporting, internal controls, and team management.
This is not a routine accounting role.
Location : Park Street, Kolkata.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership, bring discipline and control, strengthen systems, and work closely with management in a responsible and high-impact position.
The role will involve responsibility for:
- Finalization of accounts of a manufacturing concern
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Direct Tax, TDS, GST, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
- ROC / Companies Act related compliance
- Statutory, tax, and internal audit handling
- Inventory / stock accounting and stock statements
- MIS, budget vs actuals, banking reports, and management reporting
- Internal financial controls and process improvement
- Leading and supervising the accounts and compliance team
We are looking for someone who:
- is a Qualified Chartered Accountant
- has minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
- has strong exposure in a manufacturing industry environment
- can independently handle critical finance, tax, and compliance functions
- understands both technical accuracy and practical business realities
- has the maturity to manage deadlines, teams, audits, and management expectations
- brings ownership, integrity, accountability, and problem-solving ability
Preferred background:
Candidates from Ferro Alloys, Steel, Metals, Minerals, Engineering, Chemicals, or other process-driven manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Preferred notice period: Immediate to 30 days
