Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Ulhasnagar. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements. The role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring for infrastructure projects. The person in this position will handle statutory compliances such as taxation, GST, TDS, and audit coordination, ensuring adherence to local regulations and company policies. Responsibilities also include budgeting, cost analysis for civil engineering projects, financial reporting to management, and supporting internal controls and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA), with active membership in the relevant professional body.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, bookkeeping, and preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
- Experience with taxation, GST, TDS, statutory compliances, and coordination with auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Ability to perform budgeting, cost control, and project-based financial analysis, preferably in construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel and general IT skills.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to interpret financial data for decision-making.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with project, site, and management teams.
- Prior experience in a civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure company is an advantage.
