Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Nagpur. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. The role involves handling taxation compliance and filings, preparing GST and income tax returns, and ensuring adherence to all relevant financial regulations. The professional will support budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning, while providing periodic reports and insights to management for decision-making. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with auditors, improving internal controls, and supporting financial risk management for the business.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) with valid membership in the relevant professional body.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory compliance applicable in India.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Experience using accounting and ERP software, as well as MS Excel and other office tools.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and a high level of professional ethics.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with management, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience in retail, jewelry, or manufacturing sectors is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Nagpur and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
