Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Ranchi. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. The role involves handling statutory compliances, such as tax filings, GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements, while ensuring adherence to accounting standards. The Chartered Accountant will support budgeting, cost analysis, and financial forecasting to guide management decisions. The position also includes coordinating with auditors, preparing audit documentation, and recommending improvements to internal controls and financial processes.
Qualifications
- Recognized Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Experience with financial reporting, balance sheet and profit & loss preparation, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in taxation, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances relevant to Indian regulations.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Ability to work on-site in Ranchi, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with management, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in the food, manufacturing, or FMCG sector is an advantage.
