Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Bhiwadi and Gurgaon. The Chartered Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, tax planning, and compliance for assigned clients. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and supporting statutory and internal audit activities. The role involves advising clients on financial strategy, risk management, and process improvements, as well as preparing documentation, working papers, and responding to client and regulatory queries. The professional will collaborate closely with team members and partners to deliver accurate, timely, and insight-driven financial solutions.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid membership from the Institute of Chartered Accountants; bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong skills in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements, including knowledge of applicable accounting standards.
- Proficiency in direct and indirect tax matters, tax planning, return filing, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience in audit and assurance, including statutory audits, internal audits, and preparation of audit documentation and working papers.
- Comfort with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and advisory support for business planning and performance improvement.
- Ability to work with accounting and ERP software, advanced MS Excel skills, and familiarity with digital compliance and e-filing platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics, with a commitment to continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes.
- Prior experience in a CA firm or consultancy environment in Gurugram or similar markets is an advantage.
