About This Job:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems. You are responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to keep our operations running smoothly. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Executes corrective maintenance procedures to address equipment malfunctions and restore functionality.
- Conducts comprehensive equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Applies troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
- Utilizes root cause analysis methods to identify and eliminate the underlying causes of equipment failures.
- Maintains and repairs hydraulic systems, ensuring proper operation and preventing leaks.
- Manages and services pneumatic systems, including compressors, valves, and actuators.
- Inspects, repairs, and upgrades electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintains and repairs mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
- Modifies and troubleshoots PLC programming to optimize equipment performance and automation.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proven experience with preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment maintenance.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
Physical Requirements/Work Conditions:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in various environments, including indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in noisy and potentially hazardous environments.
