We are looking for a high-caliber relationship builder and operator to lead and manage one of our
entrepreneur chapters.
What is Chapter and Who is a Chapter Director?
A Chapter is a curated leadership forum within CorporateConnections where accomplished business owners and senior leaders come together to build meaningful relationships, exchange strategic insights, and support each other’s business and personal growth. Each chapter functions as a trusted peer advisory group focused on high-quality conversations, collaboration, and long-term value creation.
The Chapter Director is the custodian of this member experience and the driving force behind
maintaining a high-quality leadership room. The role involves engaging with senior entrepreneurs
and industry leaders, building deep relationships and trust, facilitating meaningful discussions and
ensuring a world-class experience for members. The Chapter Director also plays a critical role in
maintaining strong engagement and retention within the chapter. This is not an event management role; it is a leadership community management role that requires maturity, sound judgment and strong interpersonal intelligence.
Responsibilities:
1. Curating a High-Quality Leadership Room
Plan and execute 20 structured chapter meetings annually, ensuring each session delivers meaningful value to members. This includes facilitating high-quality discussions, encouraging meaningful participation, inviting thought-provoking speakers, and
maintaining a strong and engaging meeting flow.
2. Building Deep Member Relationships
Develop strong one-on-one relationships with members by understanding their business
priorities, professional goals, and challenges. Facilitate relevant introductions and help
members connect with the right people within the network, serving as a trusted
relationship builder within the ecosystem.
3. Driving Member Engagement & Participation
Foster an active and collaborative environment within the chapter by encouraging
participation in discussions, creating opportunities for collaboration, and facilitating
valuable connections between members. The Chapter Director plays a key role in
maintaining the energy and engagement of the room.
4. Ensuring Member Retention & Chapter Health
Continuously monitor and strengthen the overall health of the chapter by gathering
regular member feedback, nurturing relationships, and proactively addressing concerns.
Strong engagement and high renewal rates are key indicators of a thriving chapter.
Additionally, you will be responsible for actively following up on member renewal
payments to ensure timely renewals and sustained chapter growth.
5. Working with Chapter Leadership
Collaborate closely with the Chapter Leadership Team to execute chapter initiatives,
uphold CorporateConnections standards, and ensure alignment with the organization’s
vision and values. The Chapter Director serves as the operational anchor supporting the
leadership team.
6. Bringing Value to the Ecosystem
Identify and introduce relevant speakers, thought leaders, and strategic contributors who
can enrich the learning and networking experience for members and bring fresh
perspectives into the chapter. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving member
growth by onboarding new members, ensuring timely follow-ups with prospective
members, and managing all related documentation and paperwork efficiently.
Requirements:
● Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior professionals, entrepreneurs and CXO-level leaders.
● Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide meaningful group discussions.
● Ability to handle diverse viewpoints with maturity, professionalism and discretion.
● High level of ownership and accountability, with the ability to operate independently and deliver outcomes without constant supervision.
● Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and commitments simultaneously.
● Demonstrated ability to build trust, connect people thoughtfully and maintain long-term professional relationships.
● Ability to anticipate challenges, solve problems proactively and maintain high operational standards.
● Comfortable engaging with accomplished entrepreneurs and holding a room of senior business leaders.
● A natural inclination toward community building, relationship management and leadership environment facilitation.
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Communications preferred.
● 5–8 years of experience in roles involving relationship management, community management, consulting or business networking ecosystems is preferred.
