Job Description - Channel Partner Sourcing
Channel Partner Sourcing is a key leadership role responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with channel partners to drive business growth and revenue generation. This role involves strategizing, executing, and overseeing the channel partner sourcing activities, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Channel Partner Identification and Assessment: Identify potential channel partners in alignment with the company's target market and business objectives. Evaluate and assess prospective partners to ensure they meet the company's standards and criteria for collaboration.
2. Partnership Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and agents. Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, outlining terms and conditions, responsibilities, and expectations.
3. Market Analysis and Strategy: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for channel expansion. Develop channel partner strategies that align with the company's sales and growth objectives
4. Channel Partner Training and Enablement: Provide training and support to channel partners to ensure they understand the company's products, services, and sales processes. Equip partners with the necessary tools, resources, and marketing collateral to effectively promote and sell the company's offerings.
5. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of channel partner activities. Monitor partner performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
6. Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise between the company and channel partners. Act as a liaison between partners and internal departments to ensure smooth collaboration
7. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that channel partners adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with channel partner relationships.
