Role Description The Channel Agency Partner Variable Business Model–Part Time role at Edelweiss Life Insurance is a full-time, on-site position based in Amritsar. The role involves identifying, recruiting, and onboarding agency partners and supporting them in building a sustainable life insurance portfolio. Responsibilities include planning and executing channel sales strategies, setting and tracking sales targets, and driving revenue growth through agency partners. The role also includes providing regular training, guidance, and performance reviews for partners, as well as maintaining strong relationships to ensure high engagement and retention. Day-to-day activities involve market mapping, prospecting, reviewing business performance, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and customer service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Business Planning, including setting targets, forecasting, and tracking performance.
- Experience working with Channel Partners and Channel Sales, with the ability to build and manage a partner network.
- Strong Account Management and Sales skills, including relationship-building, negotiation, and closing.
- Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or related sectors is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort with fieldwork and on-site partner visits within Amritsar and nearby areas.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team structure.
