Hiring-Change Management SME (Bank Teller Transformation)
Type: Contract / Consulting
Start: Target start window: Q3/Q4
Duration: 4–9 months (with possible extension through hypercare)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid/Remote with occasional onsite travel)
Role Summary:
This role is ideal for professionals who understand both banking operations and enterprise change management, and who can bridge the gap between business users, branch operations, technology teams, vendors, training teams, and leadership stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end change management activities across discovery, design, testing, cutover, rollout, and hypercare phases
- Conducting impact assessments for tellers, branch managers, operations teams, and support functions
- Translating system/process changes into practical day-to-day operational impacts
- Developing and executing communication, engagement, and adoption strategies
- Supporting training development, role-based learning plans, and branch readiness initiatives
- Driving participation in UAT, dress rehearsals, go-live planning, and post-production stabilization
- Creating SOPs, job aids, branch playbooks, FAQs, escalation paths, and readiness scorecards
- Monitoring adoption KPIs, operational stability, productivity metrics, support trends, and post go-live improvements
Required experience:
- 8+ years of Change Management experience within enterprise transformation programs
- Strong experience in retail banking, teller operations, branch modernization, or core banking transformation
- Hands-on experience with teller platform migrations involving Jack Henry, FIS, Argo, or similar banking systems
- Deep understanding of teller workflows including balancing, approvals, dual control, cash operations, overrides, exceptions, settlement, and branch operations
- Experience managing communications, stakeholder alignment, training delivery, and adoption at scale
- Ability to work closely with technology teams, vendors, operations leadership, and compliance/risk stakeholders
Preferred:
- Prosci / CCMP / ACMP certifications
- Experience within regulated financial services environments
- Experience supporting pilot-to-rollout branch transformation programs
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, LMS platforms, SharePoint, or ADO
