The role, in a nutshell:
We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to oversee the development and improvement of Chainguard's secure supply chain ecosystem. In this role, you will work alongside other PMs and cross-functional stakeholders to help lead, develop and manage the product roadmap and vision. You will develop a strong understanding of customer needs and work with engineering to define elegant, differentiating product solutions with well defined priorities.
You have to be able to work through ambiguity to be able to get results. You will leverage your relationships with your key internal stakeholders to align on priorities and provide prioritized use cases for your engineering partners.
What you'll do:
Develop and propose business cases for new products or features based on a strong understanding of the software supply chain security space, current market needs and competitive offerings.
Create written documents that clearly define the problem, proposed and recommended solutions, quantitative and qualitative success measures & targets, cross-functional requirements, and ROI to the business.
Launch new products and features that solve customer problems, evaluate their performance, and iterate quickly.
Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, UX, and other cross-functional teams on cutting edge technologies.
Develop innovative solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
Drive the strategy, roadmap and planning cycles.
Drive execution against the roadmap.
