MBA Finance person who is proficient in Excel, and knowledge of BI (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is an added advantage.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Acting as Key interface and SPOC between Business Leaders and finance teams.
  • Produces and analyzes a range of Management Reports on periodical basis to analyze various performance metrics of the BU.
  • Manages queries of the business and support in decision making, supports Business Leaders in simulating the impact of various business circumstances to the Financials.
  • Participate in production of BU reports, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data produced and presenting the reports and findings for executive review in various governance calls.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders such as Finance Controllers, BU leaders and IP Product Owners.
  • Ensures Accuracy and timeliness in producing reports and analysis and drives process improvements.
  • Support to implement key performance indicators to track and review major profit levers/parameters providing early warning signals to all stake holders for corrective action.
  • Tracks major variances, highlighting major outliers and any inconsistencies in financial data produced or BU results.
  • Work in coordination with the Business Units to obtain the relevant information.
  • Address any open queries of the BU leaders and production of various Ad hoc reports in timely manner.
  • Conducting high level reviews of the financial data with controllers and the Product Owners, resolving any queries and incorporating any additional requests before and after the Governance calls.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Qualification for the role :

  • Graduate (B.Com, BBA, MBA, etc.) with at least 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Management Reporting or any such similar role involving reporting to senior management.
  • Basic to intermediate level of understanding of Financial Analysis and Accounting principles
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with MS Office tools (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Good to have familiarity with Power BI or any other Data visualization tool.Must have Skills:
  • Graduate with at least 2 years (B.Com, BBA, MBA, etc.)
  • Understanding of Basic Finance & Accounting principles
  • Financial Analysis & Management reporting
  • MS Office tools
  • Communication skills

Must to Have :

2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (IT/Finance domain).

Strong understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, financial metrics, and variance analysis.

Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials, Workday, Netsuite).

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts).

Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and analysis.

Ability to create documentation: BRDs, FRDs, process maps, user stories.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in Agile or hybrid project methodologies

Good to have :

Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Hyperion).

Prior involvement in FP&A, budgeting, or forecasting processes.

Experience working in multi-entity or global finance environments.
