Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: On-site Oklahoma City, OK
Work Hours: M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
Travel: Up to 5% travel may be required in support of business initiatives
About the Role: the Warehouse Coordinator supports daily warehouse operations with a strong emphasis on customer service, order accuracy, and inventory management. This role is hands-on and highly tactical, requiring strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. The Coordinator will work closely with Customer Service and warehouse leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient order fulfillment.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated expertise in order picking, inventory management, parcel processing, and workstation flow, with prior experience in a Lead-level role. This position influences team performance without direct supervisory authority and requires consistent interaction with site leadership and periodic communication with corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping, Transportation & Documentation
- Scanning Bill of Ladings
- Order planning and distribution
- Process expedited orders using FedEx Ship Manager
- Monitor shipping progress and correct as needed
- Communicate with LTL carriers
- Process Will Call orders
- Utilize EDI
- Utilize AS400 as our WMS
Warehouse Operations
- Perform general warehouse tasks including receiving, cycle counts, parcel packing, workstation setup, and housekeeping
- Support workflow management on the floor, including preparation for huddles, daily planning, and coordination with Supervisors
- Assist with training team members on standard work, packing expectations, workstation layouts, and system processes
Administrative & Data Entry
- Complete computer-based data entry for shipping, inventory, planning, and KPI inputs
- Organize clerical documents including purchase orders, inbound documents and packing lists
- Support administrative tasks related to SQDC updates, process charting, and daily management routines
Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in 5S, Kaizen events, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and current standard work documents and support SOP/work instruction updates
- Support Oklahoma City’s safety program through participation in audits, hazard mapping, and corrective actions
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and proactively report or correct unsafe conditions
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- 3 or more years of experience in distribution operations, with at least 1 year in a Lead or equivalent role
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning warehouse systems quickly (AS400)
- Experience with customer-facing communication, shipping processes, and inventory management
- Continuous Improvement or Lean experience preferred
