We are looking for a skilled CFD / Thermal Simulation Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in underhood thermal and flow simulations. The candidate will be responsible for performing simulations related to vehicle thermal management systems, including air intake, exhaust, radiator, and fan performance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform underhood flow and thermal simulations for automotive applications
Analyze and optimize air intake and exhaust systems
Conduct radiator and cooling fan performance simulations
Develop and validate CFD models using industry-standard tools
Interpret simulation results and provide design improvement recommendations
Collaborate with design and product teams for system optimization
Prepare technical reports and documentation
Required Skills & Tools
Proficiency in:
STAR-CCM+
GT-Power
Siemens NX CAD
Strong understanding of:
Thermal management systems
Fluid flow and heat transfer principles
Experience in:
Underhood airflow simulation
Cooling module (radiator + fan) modeling
Intake and exhaust flow analysis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers
Knowledge of meshing techniques and solver settings
Familiarity with validation/testing correlation
