Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced CFD Engineer with strong expertise in StarCCM+ for model preparation, meshing, and airflow analysis. The role involves performing CFD simulations focused on airflow, pressure loss, porous media, and fan performance — specifically related to HVAC systems and railway environment conditions. The engineer must be able to independently handle complete simulation workflows and provide accurate insights to support engineering decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- CFD model preparation: Model simplification and meshing (StarCCM+)
- CFD analysis: Mainly airflow and pressure losses analysis through the HVAC unit
- Proficient on CFD analysis with StarCCM
- Lateral airflow loads on Railway environment conditions
- Fan simulations
- Porous media pressure losses: Filters, coils …
- Interpret simulation results and share findings with engineering teams
Must Have Experience:
- CFD Model preparation: Model Simplification and Meshing (StarCCM+)
- CFD Analysis: Mainly airflow and pressure losses analysis through the HVAC unit
- Proficient on CFD Analysis with StarCCM
- Lateral airflow loads on Railway environment conditions
- Fan Simulations
- Porous media pressure losses: Filters, coils
Nice to Have:
- Experience on creating macros in StarCCM
- Experience on HVAC units CFD calculation
- Propane (gas) propagation analysis
